Do you airbrush?
Yes. It lasts like nothing else, photographs beautifully and holds up against studio lighting. I also keep basic foundation and powders in my kit for clients that do not want airbrushing.
What kind of makeup do you use?
Everything I use is professional quality. Suitable for photography, stage and all day wear.
What is male grooming?
Male grooming allows a man to look more polished, without actually seeing makeup on him. This can include combing the brows, smoothing out their skin by moisturizing, concealing any blemishes or under eye darkness and blotting away shine. I also groom their facial hair so it lays flat and smooth. In some cases, you can even add a hint of bronzer. This is something that I’ve done for grooms, professional head shots and news broadcast.
Can you use my personal makeup on me?
If you prefer I use pieces of your own collection– that’s completely fine. However, I do have a variety of formulas and shades for all skin tones and types.
I am allergic to certain ingredients, how will I know your makeup won’t cause a reaction?
If you have known allergies, it’s best for me to use your makeup on you. While I maintain a clean and well sanitized kit – I cannot guarantee or be held accountable for ingredients you are allergic to.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. I require a non-refundable $100.00 deposit for brides. This is due on or before your trial run to secure your wedding date. Deposit goes towards your total and the remainder is due on day of wedding.
How does the bridal pre-look trial work?
Pre-look trials are held at your home. We’ll discuss the makeup look that you want and go from there! I like to make it relaxed with some music and a chill atmosphere. Feel free to include a friend, mom or even fiancé.
Do I need to have anything for my trial?
If you are not sure how you want your makeup done – I’ll customize a look for you that suits your features and coloring. If you have an idea of what you want your makeup to look like, it’s helpful to have photos of makeup that you like as a point of reference. From there, I’ll put together something similar that will complement you.
I have a lot of people in my bridal party, how many people can you make up?
It depends on how many people want makeup and the time frame you have to get ready. Once I have more details about your agenda, I’ll let you know if I need to bring an assistant.
Do you require a contract?
Yes, all brides sign a contract once we complete the pre-look trial and I receive your deposit. Contract confirms the day and time along with how many people will be getting makeup done.
